Residence For Mr. Rizwan In Barabanki
COMPLETED
Year : 2021
Type : Residential
Status : Completed
Located in a mixed-use area, this residence sits on an irregular quadrilateral plot, facing a road on one side and a dirty brook on the other, flanked by three 45' Ashoka trees.
The design draws from Islamic principles, emphasizing privacy, simplicity, passive cooling, and respect for women and nature. It blends traditional elements like Mashrabiyyas, courtyard (qa'ah), and Musallah into a modern form.
The house is zoned into public and private areas. The ground floor has a garage and 3 shops; the first floor is for the owner and wife; the top floor is planned for the son. Despite zoning, vertical interactions create unity across spaces, encouraging family bonding and sustainable living.
